With Tommy Chong in jail for selling pipes on line, under the current oppressive United States Government, HempUrest is on hold.  Yet, as soon as America has a less cruel government, HempUrest will be back.  It makes no sense to kill our source of air, trees, when there are excellent sources of wood made illegal by the United States Government.

A HempUrest is being designed to include a hemp board base, and hemp fabric on the armrest cover.  In essence, what HempUrest does is place a piece of hemp in computing areas that are currently unsupported, which is from the wrist to the elbows which also reduces stress from upper arms, shoulders and neck.

An original medical marijuana product application, the HempUrest model keyboard stand is a simple device that fully supports your upper body when computing.  HempUrest also lowers your keyboard which eliminates the need to bend your wrists when keying for hours of comfortable computing.

The plan is to be able to place hemp board, fabric, adhesives and threads next to a computer for ergonomic support.  We believe that selling a 'hunk of hemp' into the computer environment will assist many computer users by reducing their repetitive stress by providing ample support.

Using hemp board and  knowing the comfort value hemp fabric provides, the CompUrest Keyboard Stand is being developed to be offered as a HempUrest model which is made from hemp products.  We have our first customer for this product, and am in the process of hand making the model. 

The competitive advantage offered in the computer ergonomic marketplace is comfortable computing with no learning curve required.  This product fights computer illness by fully supporting forearms, elbows and shoulders while lowering the keyboard, eliminating the need to bend wrists when computing.

Like CompUrest, HempUrest is 21” X 21”X 1 ¼ “  and fits under a  keyboard.  HempUrest can be installed under a desk, under the monitor or used on a person's lap.  We can even offer a version that's a small table that folds away when not in use.

The armrest is 12" long by 20" wide and has an indentation that begins 4" from the left side and 5" in from the right side and the depth of the curve is 3".

Initial sales will be to the medical marijuana community, who is looking for reasonably priced, environmentally correct hemp based solutions to the problems we are facing, including computer illness.
